Trump Invades the CDC

Following up on a recent post, "Donald Trump is Killing Us On Purpose," Trump has acted on his intentions to infiltrate the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and manufacture the messages from the CDC to the public.

"From reports by the Washington Post and corroborated by the New York Times, he is requiring all data from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) be rerouted through the White House before it reaches the public. The White House says it is so that the data can be checked to make sure it's accurate, but that is not the reason. Because of Trump's obvious disdain for Covid data, he is trying to control what people see."

This was demonstrated today when the CDC, in a complete departure from their original position, put out a statement that children and teachers should return to schools. During this pandemic, with a highly contagious virus ravaging the world, a large group of people in contained spaces for extended periods of time is very dangerous. What's more disturbing is that the people the Trump administration wants to put in this situation are children. The CDC had not been shy in condemning Trump's intention, citing reasonable and common sense safety concerns. But now they have produced a statement that completely supported the Trump administration's position. The statement read:

“Reopening schools creates opportunity to invest in the education, well-being, and future of one of America’s greatest assets — our children — while taking every precaution to protect students, teachers, staff and all their families,”

Previously the CDC had outlined their official position by ranking situations as "low risk" and "high risk." An organization for the prevention and control of diseases and viruses would take the position that posed the lowest risk, and the CDC was doing exactly that.

"Lowest Risk: Students and teachers engage in virtual-only classes, activities, and events."

"Highest Risk: Full sized, in-person classes, activities, and events. Students are not spaced apart, share classroom materials or supplies, and mix between classes and activities." (CDC internal memo)

In a dramatic departure from endorsing low risk behavior, the CDC seems willing to adopt some high to medium risks for children. But the CDC is not who generated today's statement, we can thank the Trump administration for that nugget of danger and carelessness. The action of taking over the CDC's position is the act of a fascist and a fascist administration. In doing this, Trump is able to accomplish a few things simultaneously.

First, he can make his base, who distrust science, and through his urging, had been manipulated to question the CDC from the beginning, further doubt science. His base is now wondering why the CDC is changing their position. To them, they see science as being wrong here, as they think it is most of the time, which only serves to perpetuate ignorance. Secondly, he can fool his base into thinking that he was right all along and the scientists had to finally just break down and admit it. By counting on this to work, Trump can finally open up more of the economy, making money for his corporate cronies, and ultimately making money himself-damn the children and teachers.

What kind of a human being would be so careless as to put his own ego, arrogance, and lust for wealth above the well-being of children?...Donald Trump. He, like his predecessors (Hitler, Stalin, Hussein, and more) delight in self-praise and grandiose behavior. Nothing is more important than them and what they want. They are willing to bully, manipulate, lie over and over, and ultimately cause harm to get what they want. Trump's shortcoming when it comes to his fellow tyrants is his lack of intelligence. He is only equipped to moderately function in society, bully, boast, and lie. Donald Trump truly is a tyrant, but he is so in the wrong place at the wrong time. This country, the United States, will not let him take complete control. The vast majority of people enjoy certain freedoms and laws that will keep his disgusting existence in office contained until his time is over, and that time is coming very soon.
